Pulpworks
Pulpworks
Taking inspiration from the lost parkland of Phoenix Park and Recreation Ground, Pulpworks was developed as a DIY making space for group investigations into the surrounding environment. Pulpworks used a series of experimental processes inspired by the canal’s industrious past and the flora, fauna and debris of the waterway as materials to explore collective experiences of playing and making.
Pulpworks was created by Pester & Rossi over the course of their Sandbox Residency in collaboration with local groups of children & young people including The Bold Collective, Queens Cross Housing Association Outdoors Youth Group, Community Central Hall’s Prince’s Trust Team, and The Richmond Model Boat Club.
Supported by Glasgow City Council’s ‘Stalled Spaces’ initiative.
