Nadia Zhaya

Nadia Zhaya is an intermedia artist working predominantly in 3-dimensional art, such as kinetic sculpture, spatial and site-specific installation.

Through the use of primeval elements of fire, light and drive the artist explores the universal and inexhaustible realm of energy – spiritual and physical. Zhaya creates objects and installations as mesmerising and empowering experiences, inspired by the transcendental, timeless and emotional.

Nadia Zhaya gained her BA Fine Art (Hons) from the Glasgow School of Art in 2023. Zhaya has co-organised and exhibited at the atmospheric art shows Rooftop exhibition at the urban office rooftop in Glasgow, UK, and Epilogue at the Pipe factory, Glasgow. Zhaya has showcased the Explosion realm at the House of Merchants in Glasgow and at Strangefield French Street, as part of the Material Matters project accompanied by a Good Press publication with an essay by El. Hudson. Group shows include Shed End at the House for an Art Lover and the Pint of Science collaboration at the Pipe Factory.
