Hebe Ramsay

Hebe Ramsay (b.1998) is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Glasgow whose work exists at the intersection of sculpture, moving image, writing and tactile technologies.

Their work exists within the threshold between virtual and physical space, where elements momentarily meet under temporal and spatial conditions. Ramsay’s practice explores personal and collective narratives of being and memory through an intertwining of myth, post-structural theory and ecology with the hope of rematerialising these events and the relationships between them. They are interested in auto-fiction, material processes, histories and science, resulting in a non-linear process that breaks away from ideas of singular and finished work.

After completing a BA (Hons) in Sculpture and Environmental Art, they were selected for They Had 4 Years 2023 (GENERATOR, Dundee).
