CHANNELS
Channels is our dedicated personal development programme that provides alternative pathways to accessing the resources of GSS for our participants in our Learning & Engagement Programme.
Channels offers a variety of different access points ranging from offering one off workshops and taster sessions to a variety of groups through to providing mentoring opportunities and one-to-one support from GSS Members and Staff for L&E programme participants to develop and sustain their own creative practice. We also work to create more in-depth opportunities with a focus on arts leadership - offering training, qualifications and accreditation, paid work experience, and personal development opportunities.
We work with a variety of partners to deliver this programme such as Maryhill Integration Network, Ubuntu Womens Shelter, The Prince’s Trust, Widening Participation at Glasgow School of Art, and The Red Cross’s Chrysalis Group to develop creative workshops that build on each groups talents, skills, and confidence - supporting them to try new things and new experiences.
